I’ve discovered a wonderful brunch with bottomless mimosas in downtown Detroit!
There are a lot of great restaurants in Detroit. I hope that some of the things I’m sharing are improving your image of the city.
After attending my first Tiger’s game, mom and I walked around. A block from the stadium we discovered Small Plates, a restaurant that serves small plates or tapas. They also host a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar on Sundays and a bottomless mimosa special.
Enjoying a bottomless mimosa brunch before the game was a pre-game winner!
Mimosas are my favorite cocktail. I could drink them for hours. It was especially nice to sit outside at Small Plates.
This restaurant has an awesome patio with a view of the Detroit People Mover….
large murals inside…
…and yummy food like the chicken and waffles my mom ordered. The breakfast burritos were great too.
Although I ate outside, there’s plenty of seating inside too. Small Plates would be a great place to meet friends downtown.
While the service was great, the hostess was clueless. She couldn’t answer any questions. The waitresses looked tired of doing their job and hers. Unless she’s related to someone who works there, I doubt she’ll be there much longer.
The restaurant also has a great choice of Michigan beers and lots of “regulars” who frequent Small Plates before and after games and events.
With bottomless mimosas, who can blame them?
